How much is LASIK?
$2,250 to $2,900 per eye, depending on the technology used for your eyes. With financing, LASIK is about $99 per eye per month for qualified applicants.
Why is there a price range?
The range reflects the laser technology chosen for your treatment. Your surgeon recommends a platform after mapping your corneas, and your written quote shows which one you are getting.
Which lasers do you use?
LASIK is blade-free. The flap is made with a femtosecond laser (IntraLase or VisuMax), and the correction is done with an excimer laser platform (VISX or Allegretto). See our technology.
Are enhancements included?
Yes. All fine-tunings and enhancements are included, along with 24 months of follow-up and dry eye cure.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. LASIK consultations are free and focused on surgery, so they do not include take-home reports. A full new-patient exam with records is $395.
How long is recovery?
Many patients go back to desk work the next day. Vision keeps refining over days to weeks. Your recovery guide lists when you can drive, exercise, and swim.
What if I’m not a LASIK candidate?
Thin or irregular corneas, very high prescriptions, or a high-impact job may point to SMILE, surface laser (PRK/ASA), or EVO ICL instead. We tell you which option fits and why.
Does insurance cover LASIK?
Usually not. Vision plans generally cover glasses and contacts, not elective surgery. We accept PPO plans for medical care, not HMO or Medi-Cal. HSA and FSA funds are commonly used.
Will LASIK make my eyes dry?
Dryness can occur during healing. We check your tear film before surgery, match the procedure to your dryness risk, and dry eye cure is included in your price.
