What every procedure price includes
Our prices for LASIK, SMILE, SMILE Pro, PIE, and pterygium surgery include all exams, measurements, surgeon’s fees, anesthetist’s fees, implant fees (where applicable), 24 months of follow-up, all fine-tunings and enhancements, dry eye cure, YAG (where applicable), and the drops needed for surgery.

Pterygium surgery also includes your follow-ups and dry eye cure, including Halo treatments. Implant fees and YAG apply where applicable (lens procedures).
Consultations and exams
- Free consultation for LASIK, SMILE, SMILE Pro, EVO ICL, and PIE. It is surgery-focused and does not include take-home reports.
- Full new-patient exam: $395. Includes a fundus exam, OCT of the macula, pachymetry, and corneal topography, plus a full workup of your main concern.
- Pterygium: free video consultation. Start a virtual consult.
- Keratoconus (CTAK, Epioxa): no free consultation. Your first visit is an insurance or cash exam.
Insurance, HSA/FSA, and financing
We accept PPO plans. We do not accept HMO plans or Medi-Cal. Vision insurance usually covers glasses and contacts, not elective surgery. Medical insurance can apply to cataract surgery and to some pterygium cases when they are medically necessary. Read Insurance & cataract coverage before your visit.
You can pre-qualify for financing with Alphaeon Credit or CareCredit using a soft check that does not affect your credit score. 0% APR promotions up to 24 months are available to qualified applicants. See Financing options, the financing guide, or estimate a payment with the financing calculator.
