Lens solutions
When laser isn’t the best fit, a lens can be added to the eye or the natural lens replaced. Which one depends on your age, prescription and whether a cataract is present.
Your lens options
EVO ICL
A removable lens added in front of your natural lens. For nearsightedness, including high prescriptions.
PIE
Lens replacement for presbyopia after 40, for less dependence on reading glasses.
Laser cataract surgery
LENSAR robotic laser with 3D imaging. Medicare, insurance and self-pay options.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between EVO ICL and PIE?
EVO ICL adds a lens and keeps your natural lens; PIE replaces it. Age, presbyopia and your measurements decide.
Does insurance cover lens surgery?
Medically necessary cataract surgery is usually covered by Medicare and insurance. EVO ICL and PIE are usually elective. We have dropped, and will continue to drop, HMO and optical (vision) insurance plans.
