Quality Of Life With The Product Of LASIK
> Here in Corona we get a lot of older patients and to hear some of their stories is interesting. They talk about the days before phones and even before cars– can you imagine?
> So what would life be like without the internet..hmmm
> It is tough to compare LASIK to these great inventions, but for some, you can.
> There are thousands of people that are 100% dependent on their glasses or contacts, people that can’t do daily chores without them.
> It’s easy to take for granted good vision if you have not had the surgery, or needed corrective lenses of any kind. Try walking around with a pair of trial frames on to blur your vision for just ten minutes or try driving to Subway for lunch.. (kidding don’t to that one haha) I have seen so many lives changed in the recent years and endless stories of not needing to worry about a broken pair of glasses, a lost contact lens, and hours at the optometrist office waiting to be seen, and not to mention the time off work, and cost of gas.. well I won’t even go there. Remember it only takes ten minuets with Dr. Khanna and you are done for life, that is a big value for many people.
> So I’m not being gun shy on the price of LASIK at five thousand dollars, that’s the easy part for me because most of the patients can put this all in to perspective, plus I believe quality of life can be improved with the product of LASIK.
